The Jurassic trail is not only a visually spectacular run along the Jurassic coast but also a challenge that some would class as undulating. The run has three route options and dependent on your choice depends on how much of a challenge you will have.
Anyone entering after the 26/03/2018 will receive our 2018 generic running medal, and not the official event medal.
The run starts near West Bay and the routes follow the Jurassic coastal path through the West Dorset golf club and onto freshwater. If your on the 5 km here is where you return West Bay along the Jurassic cliffs, and the views along the coastline.
At freshwater, the 10 km and 21 km runners continue along the coastal path towards Burton Bradstock and follow it until you reach the beauty of Hive beach, a slight change here from 2017 will see you run along the coast towards cogden before returning to the hive beach and the coastal path back to West Bay.
You are treated to sights that are simply breathtaking, you should enjoy the final push back to West Bay and the views over the horizon to Lyme Regis.
At the Start/Finish there will be a bag drop, coffee and cake for sale, and every finisher will get as always a really super medal, there are many beautiful places to eat a proper meal after you have finished your run, booking is advised, please mention us.
